  We were at a convention at one of the nearby hotels and I saw Ginger Brown's on a list of restaurants in the area. I haven't had chicken fried steak in a while so decided to check them out. Boy, am I glad I did. The chicken fried steak was perfect, the best I've had in a long, long time. In addition to a huge piece of steak the meal came with two sides. I was naughty and chose chicken fried grits and fried green tomatoes. The grits were delicious they came topped with a drizzle of a raspberry chipotle sauce. The fried green tomatoes were sizzling hot and tasted great. A freshly made cinnamon roll was also included. I had to wait and eat that one later because I was so full. The food was fresh, hot and really delicious. Prices were right, all that food plus fresh rolls as a starter for around $11. Service was friendly, and attentive. At the end of the meal the waitress asked if I'd like a to-go cup of Diet Coke. I love it when restaurants do that. Really great experience, am looking forward to next year's convention so I can visit again.

  This place is great. The food is rich with flavor and well done. Lulu is the best waitress here. She's kind, sweet, and social. I'm definitely coming back.

  The good is plentiful, prices very reasonable, and service delightful! Shelley is an awesome waitress! We came here for my husband's birthday and were pleasantly surprised by the fact his meal was free :)
  We love coming here and we highly recommend it!
  Once we lucked out and even got to meet Ginger, the restaurant's namesake. It was wonderful to thank her in person.
